Mrs. Wong has worked in the Education Bureau for 30 years before retirement. She has extensive experience in curriculum development, teacher education and quality assurance of schools. Since retirement, she has continued her work in education as school manager. She is currently council member of a renowned NGO serving the intellectually challenged. Her role includes being chairman of the education committee, member of the social services committee, school supervisor and center supervisor of the preschool center.

Ms. Stephanie Law

Stephanie joined GIS as Director of School Development in 2013. Prior to joining GIS, she served as School Development Manager leading her team and developed three schools in Hong Kong from blueprint, establishment, to further development. She has retained her role on the school advisory committee.
After graduated from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology majoring BBA Marketing. Stephanie has gained more than 15 years experience in marketing, project management, school management and development.
Alongside her role in GIS, she also serves as a children's church teacher in International Fellowship North Church. She will further develop the Bible curriculum for GIS and continue to spread God's love and His word to our next generation.
Ms. Stephanie's favorite Bible verses:
Proverbs 22:6 Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.
Proverbs 4:13 "Keep hold of instruction; do not let go; guard her, for she is your life."

Ms. Esther Chong-Acker

Ms. Esther joined Galilee International School (GIS) team in 2014. She is one of the founding Principals in GIS. As an experienced and passionate educator, this is her 17th year working in Early Childhood Education field.
Before coming to Hong Kong, Ms. Esther worked as a Preschool and Childcare Co-director in Grand Ledge, Michigan, USA for seven years.
Ms. Esther’s favorite Bible verse is, Proverbs 2:9-12.
“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom,
and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.

Ms. Katherine joined GIS in 2018. She has more than 10 years of teaching, planning and curriculum development experiences in the field of early childhood education.
Ms. Katherine is interested to understand children's growth path and their physical, mental, emotional and social developments at each stage.
Being a vice-principal, a teacher and a mother-of-two, guiding and taking good care of GIS students makes her feel happy, satisfied, grateful, and contented. Especially when she sees them gradually achieve their goals in their learning journey. As an educator, teaching children has always been her passion, she will continue to strive for creating an atmosphere where GIS students can meet their full potential.

Ms. Katrina Adamkovichute

Ms Katrina was born and raised in Lithuania, Europe. As one of our school founding members, IB Coordinator and Head of Curriculum, Ms. Katrina is responsible for ensuring the development and deployment of the IB PYP Curriculum at GIS across all grades.
Having over 8 years of teaching experience with IB PYP curriculum, education has always been a passion for Ms. Katrina. Being a mother of three wonderful children gave her the motivation to pursue and deliver high quality education, which is inquiry-based, transdisciplinary curriculum framework that builds conceptual understanding. She is an enthusiastic educator, who will continuously look for more various teaching approaches and strategies. She believes that each child should be treated as an individual and must have a stimulating educational environment where they can grow physically, mentally, emotionally and socially.

Ms. Nicole has more than 10 years of teaching and lead teaching experience in early childhood settings. She is an experienced and empathetic educator who aims to create a nurturing child centered environment where children can flourish and naturally develop the love for learning through developmentally appropriate and inquiry based classes. And where they can build on their strengths, interests, skills, abilities and knowledge to broaden their own learning.
As the Head of Admission in GIS, Ms Nicole will continuously ensure a smooth and open communication between parents and the school.
