If the School is oversubscribed, the following considerations will be taken into account:
Children who are Native english and Native mandarin speakers
Children of full-time staff or staff at GIS who have been employed at our school for over a year.
Siblings of students already attending GIS.

Date of receipt of a complete application
There may be instances when a child may have fallen behind in his/her education due to illness etc. If this is the case, the School may offer a place in a year lower than the child’s age would normally imply. There will be Consultations from parents or guardians before such an offer is made, but the decision as to the appropriate year for the child, taking into account all the relevant circumstances, is a matter for the Principal, whose decision is final.
In accordance with regulations as stipulated by the Education Bureau and Immigration Department, all pupils joining GIS must possess a valid Hong Kong ID card, allowing unconditional stay, or must have a valid passport with authorized residency status to be eligible for a place at GIS. A visitor visa does not entitle the holder to attend any school in Hong Kong.
To apply for a place in Pre-Nursery, complete and return the application form to the School Admission Office.
Application forms should be returned together with the following:
Non-refundable and non-transferable Kindergarten Application Fee of HK$40
Checks should be made payable to 'GIS (Ho Man Tin)'
Photocopy of the child’s birth certificate
Photocopy of Immunization Record
School reports from the previous year (if applicable)
Medical/Special needs reports (if applicable)
One photograph attached to the application form
One photograph - to be used for the student card
You will be asked to attend an Interview for parents and children before your child secures a place. We will also arrange an opportunity for your child to visit the school and meet the teachers, prior to their actual start date. Children must also then be accompanied in Pre-Nursery during the important settling period.
Address: Admissions Office, Galilee International Kindergarten & Nursery, 1/F Peace Garden, 2 Peace Avenue, Ho Man Tin, Kowloon, Hong Kong
Student and Family Interview
The GIS staff team will review the application when all required documents and application fees are received. We will host interviews with prospective students and families. The Interview period will start from November. During the interview, at least one parent must accompany the prospective student for assessment and interview appointment. Being an international kindergarten, families are very important to us. We encourage parents to be involved with our school and collaborate to help their child achieve educational goals.
GIS fosters rich and diverse learning experiences, in a well-resourced and vibrant environment for our students. We support their learning journey at GIS. Please feel free to contact us at 2390 3000 or email@example.com We will respond to parents as soon as we have the Interview results during school office hours. School office hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm. We invite you to come discover what makes GIS unique by contacting us or scheduling a visit. Welcome to Galilee International School!
First Installment of the Tuition Fees
The first installment of the tuition (i.e. one month’s tuition fee) is required to pay during the admission procedure. This fee, if paid, will not be refunded or, if not yet paid, will still be collected, even if the parents choose to withdraw the child’s enrollment at GIS before starting of the class.
Daily: Monday to Friday
Please indicate on the application form your preference for morning session or afternoon session. If your preferred class is not available you may be offered an alternative time.
